I've got alot on my mind right now so I'm just going to type and send it out to the world!!! I've had several cups of Starbucks and I'm almost finished with my fourth eTMA.  This is hard, much harder than I expected the first year to be and I'm terrified of what is to come, terrified and excited.  Enough about school....

Tim and I went to see Star Trek the other night and I seldom suffer from tooth envy but Spock's dentures are AMAZING.  Where can I sign up for a set of those? I was hypnotized by his teeth to the point where I lost track of what was happening, but didn't really care in the end because the NEW Spock is a little hottie and kind of reminded me of Tim.  Captain James Tiberius Kirk who?  Just goes to show, I am a wingman kind of girl.....So we liked it, alot.  And are glad we have found a good babysitter so we can go see films again like........WOLVERINE.

Hugh Jackman makes me giggle.  Like how I giggled at everything Tim said when we first met kind of giggle.  It's very pathetic.  I really like the movie, despite the critics panning it.  I also realized what an X-Men nerd I am.  I think Joey and I must have watched the cartoon alot because I seemed to remember the back story about alot of characters, Gambit in particular, crazy.  In any case, I'm very much looking forward to more mindless action films for the summer so BRING ON THE TRANSFORMERS! And Harry Potter.

The new pics and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at Cannes are on the front page of the BBC News Entertainment page and I'm ready to barf because that's what it looks like Angie has been doing to her breakfast, lunch, and dinner to have legs like that! Starvation kills girl.  Doesn't she spend enough time in third world countries to know that? Nobody who carried twins around should look like that.

Whelp, there's my commentary on the current happenings with trivial world of the film industry.  Off to potentially fake prosecute people in a 2500 word assignment......

TOTAL DORKS...

yes, this is my husband, the man I have chosen to father my children, over Easter weekend playing Guitar Hero III in the middle of the night with his pal Darren. They played the most
difficult song on the mostdifficult level for the

duration of the weekend. Needless to say, it was emotional for all involved as we listened to the same horrible horrible crap song over and over again. Feel free to skip them or watch and feel my pain....

I'm doing well with school, got another first on my second paper , the next one is a killer and we just happen to be very busy this and next month so I'm going to have to be diciplined! Mom is here in exactly a week and we are headed to Edinburgh and then we have a very busy May and a week of vacation time in June.

Oh yeah, and the kids are cute too....I was taking photos of them painting in the back yard when I found these videos on the camera. Tim had completely forgotten he had taken them, lucky us!

Am so totally excited about this: we are going to see U2 in Dublin AGAIN this time with Uncle Will and it will be so friggin amazing I can hardly stand it!!! The twins and I have been on a non-stop U2 fest, they can't say the alphabet but can probably recite the lyrics to The Joshua Tree, did anyone expect anything less when I had kids?
FINALLY, the new trailer for " Where the Wild Things Are" is out. It takes alot to get me to cry these days as all of my pregnancy hormones have dissolved into a sleepless time-warp of child-rearing, but I burst into tears when the song playing was "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire. This band makes some impressively emotional electro-rock stuff, and that teamed with my favorite book for the kids was just too much. The twins watched it and started howling at the moon, like they do every night when we read this story to them and THAT didn't help either so it's been an entire morning of waterworks...

I've committed Facebook suicide. It was basically becoming this self-indulgent, quiz-taking- black-hole of time for me and I'm going cold turkey baby! So, new pics will be posted on this site from now on! I've got a paper due at the end of every month until Oct. so I can't have anymore distractions than I already have! The twins are currently coloring a book together very nicely and singing twinkle twinkle, it's the only song they can sing together! They've grown out of yet another set of clothes, it's amazing how much clothing they have...not sure where all of the hand-me-downs are going to end up? Steph, what kind of baby are you having????

Spring at Last!

Ah yes, the seasonal shift from cold and rainy to cold and rainy with occasional sun! Man, I love living the UK!  It's well into March now and a few things have come up: Firstly, Tim is having knee surgery on St. Patrick's Day, he hates St. Patrick's Day so that is quite fitting actually!  Next, I've started my LLB with the Open University for Law.  Two things strike me as I start this whole process, 1) what was I thinking and 2) what was I thinking?  It's a lot of work, but honestly, I am enjoying it.  I got a first on my first paper, which is an A so off to a good start!!

The twins are as cute as ever, see the photos, and we are loving the fact that they are getting more mature and chatty.  Indigo is practically speaking in sentences, seemingly out of nowhere, while Cole demonstrates excellent manual dexterity by constantly eating or stealing toys away from Indigo. Cole is very clever at colors and shapes, while indigo is a fan of the alphabet and counting in Spanish. It's fun.  They have suddenly become very clingy, not sure why but I'm hoping they will snap out of it soon!!

Welcome to 2009!

Hey everyone! Well, 2008 absolutely flew by! I had a great time with the kids this year, being at home with them is the best thing ever and I am always saying how lucky I am to be able to do it! We had a wonderful time over Christmas, my mom and sister flew out, as well as Tim's folks and brother Will. Our pals Carlos and Felicity gave us use of their house while they were away for the holidays so we were able to fit everyone in!

The theme for this Christmas was definately : Cook Jamie Oliver/Nigella/Gordon Ramsey Food. I am now referring to Christmas as " The Festival of Carbohydrates" because all of the weight I lost immediately came back on the moment a minced pie touched my lips!

The twins had a blast, tons of attention, loads of lovely presents and buckets of sugar made it all very special for them. I'm impressed with the gifts for them this year, nobody went over the top, most things are non-television/video game oriented and they seem to be very occupied with them so far! Now it's time for their birthday - I always feel sorry for kids born in Jan/Feb. the parents can't bring themselves to get TOO excited since Christmas has just passed! Enjoy some of the pics:

Fine, somehow I can't get the pics to go where I want them to so whatever.........
